Warehouse Supervisor - Reno NV - No nights or weekends

Summary:

Responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and managing inventory; picking and fulfilling customer orders; and making timely deliveries. This role conducts cycle counts, resolves inventory discrepancies, maintains a clean and secure warehouse, and assists with the maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment to support safe and efficient operations.

Primary duties:

o   Pulling stock and staging by delivery route bays.

o   Schedule and deliver products to customers.

o   Drive a forklift, cherry picker, stretch wrapper, and operate electric pallet jacks.

o   Ensure that warehouse operations are performed efficiently and effectively by training swing shift team on proper procedures, including safety, and keeping the warehouse orderly and clean.

o   Address delivery and customer issues directly.

o   Coordinate with other WCP Solutions warehouses regarding any inventory or delivery issues.

Qualifications:

o   Two years of experience in a warehouse or warehouse supervisor position preferred.

o   Hazcom and Hazmat experience a plus.

o   Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and current versions of MS Office.

o   Professional conduct while interacting with vendors, other company employees, and customers.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

o   Maintain confidential conduct and meet company/regulatory safety requirements.

o   Be adaptable to change such as routes or schedules. 

o   Customer service orientation; good public relations skills.

o   Read and follow the GPS or road map.

o   Can work without direct supervision.

o   Having warehouse knowledge preferred.

o   Meet company and regulatory driving record requirements.

o   Move stock using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.

Working Conditions:

o   \Warehouse, customer location, and truck cab environment.

o   Able to lift up to 50 pounds waist high on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds with team lift on an occasional basis.

o   Subject to seasonal weather and local traffic conditions.

o   Overtime may be required.
