    Position Overview
    The Warehouse Supervisor –Reagents & Bulk Materials is responsible for overseeing the daily movement, storage, and inventory control of reagents and bulk materials within a large industrial manufacturing facility.

    This individual will provide leadership to warehouse personnel while ensuring safe operations, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted material availability for production. The role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys building efficient processes while leading a high-performing team in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities
    • Execute accurate ERP inventory transactions to maintain inventory integrity.
    • Ensure inbound materials are received, processed, and entered into the system on the same day whenever possible.
    • Maintain compliance with company safety policies, environmental regulations, and internal controls.
    • Verify purchase orders, bills of lading, and received materials for accuracy.
    • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies.
    • Ensure all incoming materials are properly identified and labeled with required inventory information.
    • Partner with production teams to support daily reagent deliveries and material replenishment.
    • Perform inventory control activities including cycle counts, variance investigations, and stock adjustments.
    • Identify and resolve receiving or documentation discrepancies immediately.
    • Serve as the primary resource for reagent and bulk material warehouse operations.
    • Lead daily warehouse operations, assign workloads, and monitor team performance.
    • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide hands-on leadership in a fast-paced industrial environment.

    Qualifications Required
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and warehouse leadership experience.
    • Minimum of 3 years supervising warehouse operations.
    • Experience leading warehouse personnel, scheduling work, coaching employees, and driving operational performance.
    • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP experience is a plus).
    • Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to operate forklifts and obtain required certifications.
    Preferred
    Experience within one or more of the following industries:
    • Mining
    • Heavy industrial manufacturing
    • Chemical processing
    • Metals manufacturing
    • Construction materials
    • Industrial processing

    Knowledge of:
    • OSHA regulations
    • Hazardous material handling
    • Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
    • DOT regulations
    • Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards
