A growing food manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead first-shift warehouse operations. This individual will oversee warehouse associates and ensure receiving, shipping, inventory movement, outbound orders, transfers, and returns are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse associates.
  • Manage daily receiving, shipping, order processing, transfers, and returns.
  • Ensure warehouse operations are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Coordinate full truckload, LTL, and UPS shipments.
  • Partner with inventory leadership to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor staffing levels, schedules, productivity, labor costs, and supply expenses.
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding, performance reviews, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
  • Review employee timecards and correct payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure warehouse bins and work areas are organized and cleared at the end of each shift.
  • Support departmental goals and broader company initiatives.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
  • Previous experience leading warehouse employees in a results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of full truckload, LTL, and UPS shipping processes.
  • Experience using inventory-tracking or warehouse management software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred but not required.
