    Overview:

    Second Shift, Shipping Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift (3:00pm to 11:30pm) - Receive up to 3 weeks of paid time off in your first year!

    What You'll Do:

    OVERVIEW: 

    The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. The main objective will be to ensure the efficient and smooth functioning of all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. You will lead a team of warehouse staff and work closely with other departments to meet our operational goals.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Supervise Warehouse Operations: Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products in a timely and efficient manner. 
    • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure productivity and adherence to safety procedures. 
    • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize loss. 
    • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer requirements. 
    • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline warehouse operations. 
    • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. 
    • Reporting: Prepare reports on warehouse activities, including productivity, inventory levels, and any issues or incidents that may arise. 
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, purchasing, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of operations. 
    • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure proper maintenance and functionality of warehouse equipment and machinery. 
    What We're Looking For :

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent. 

     

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES 

     

    • Requires forklift experience on a majority of Wilson's current equipment and must be trainable on equipment not familiar with.
    • Experience: Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse environment. 
    • Knowledge: Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
    • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control principles. 
    • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a diverse team. 
    • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. 
    • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all levels. 
    • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues and implement effective solutions. 
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and operating warehouse machinery. 
    • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in using warehouse management systems, inventory software, and MS Office applications. 
    • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
