Job Description:

Johnson Brothers of Nebraska has grown to become the largest distributor of wine and craft beer in the state of Nebraska. Operating since 2006, the organization boasts a first-class portfolio that features many of the industry's finest wine, spirits, and beer brands. Additionally, Johnson Brothers is the only statewide distributor to provide delivery to customers across the Cornhusker state.

Our Night Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the fulfillment process to ensure that we are properly filling orders for customer's accounts and that all items ordered are received. The ideal leader will have a focus on Employee Retention and Development, Safety and be Customer Driven.

This position is very hands on, and expectation is to have a high level of presence out on the Warehouse Floor (80%) and must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and does require flexibility with scheduling. The standard hours for this role are Mon-Thurs 1pm -Midnight+ (business needs) Friday 10am -3pm+ (business needs).

Responsibilities:

• Assist overseeing operation of warehouse duties in receiving, warehousing, and distribution • Assist route planning and system entry with Delivery Manager • Coordinate and enforcing programs, operational/personnel policies, and procedures • Practice controls of inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system • Assist managing physical condition of warehouse thru regular cleaning and helping implement planned new design layouts • Inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results • Manages warehouse staff by assisting recruitment process, including selection, orientation, and training • Coach warehouse staff job results by thru positive counseling. Ability to administer discipline to employees, as well as planning, monitoring, and appraising job results • Payroll/Timecard maintenance and approval • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or comparable experience • 3+ years of previous management experience in Warehouse/Distribution environment • Strong computer skills. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Previous WMS experience preferred • Strong organizational skills, versatility, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work as a team member • Must be flexible to work multiple shifts
