Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:

The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement effective supervisory practices and procedures alongside the General Manager to achieve the maximum levels of output while maintaining a safe work environment. The goal is to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations that will yield higher overall productivity and, ultimately, company profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings
• Manage daily use of operating supplies
• Ensure daily pre-trip inspections are being performed
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in all functions of the warehouse (unloading, put-away, re-warehouse, picking, and shipping)
• Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities
• Assist in performance review process
• Ensure accuracy across all inventory transactions (receiving, shipping, transfers, location transfers, etc.)
• Ensure safety practices are being followed
• Interface with General Manager(s) to answer questions and/or solve problems
• Identify areas of improvement and suggest innovative and effective approaches to problem resolution
• Ensure that each employee is being a productive member of the team
• Ensure safety and operational protocols are being followed, as well as ensuring that paperwork is accurately filled out
• Submit daily shift updates via Teams

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience preferred
• Knowledge and use of all Microsoft programs
• Proper email etiquette
• Dependable
• Ability to work in the elements
• Ability to communicate effectively and direct several small groups
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Detailed oriented
