At Kirby Risk, our Distribution Center is the heartbeat of our operations-ensuring that products move efficiently, accurately, and on time. We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who can lead by example, build strong teams, and help us continue to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
What You will Do as a Warehouse Supervisor
In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting the 2nd Shift team to achieve operational goals while creating a positive and productive work environment.
You will:
Lead and support warehouse associates while setting clear expectations and helping them succeed
Create employee schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels to support daily operationsProvide training, mentoring, performance feedback, and employee development opportunities
Build trust within the team through open communication and consistent leadershipIdentify operational challenges and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and accuracy
Handle hiring, performance management, documentation, and terminations as neededCross-train employees to build a flexible workforcePartner with leadership and other departments to meet operational goals and customer expectations
Help ensure the team works safely while meeting quality and productivity expectations
Build positive working relationships across teams while promoting excellent customer service
What Makes You a Great Fit
College coursework and/or 3+ years of supervisory or team leader experience (warehouse, quality, customer service, etc.)Experience leading teams of 15+ employeesStrong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonalBilingual communication skillsUnderstanding of business operations and warehouse processesKeen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at onceProficiency with computers; Microsoft Office experience preferred
