    JOB SUMMARY

    The Warehouse Supervisor leads daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety, 5S discipline, people supervision, and KPI performance. This role coaches associates, monitors key operational metrics, improves standard work, and ensures safe, accurate, and efficient execution across inbound, outbound, and inventory activities.

    DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Conduct cycle counts of our inventory levels to maintain reliable reporting data.
    • Lead all daily picking, packing, and shipping objectives.
    • Manage, evaluate, and report on warehouse productivity, safety performance, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, labor efficiency, and other KPI-driven measures.
    • Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods and materials.
    • Lead daily safety execution, reinforce health and safety regulations, conduct safety observations, and ensure associates consistently follow safe work practices.
    • Achieving high level of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
    • Organize and maintain inventory, storage areas, workstations, and aisles using 5S principles to support safety, efficiency, visual management, and audit readiness.
    • Supervise warehouse associates by communicating job expectations, assigning work, coaching performance, providing feedback, and promoting accountability.
    • Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
    • Identify improvement opportunities, use KPI trends to address gaps, and establish innovative or adjusted work procedures that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
    • Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy.
    • Assign workloads and daily tasks to associates.
    • Review daily, weekly, and monthly KPI results with team members and leadership; develop action plans to improve performance and sustain operational discipline.
    • Lead and sustain 5S activities, including sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain practices across warehouse areas.
    • Monitor associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed, especially when operating machinery.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or planning preferred.
    • Background in improving standard processes, promoting accountability, developing successful teams, and leading KPI-based performance improvement.
    • 3 years of prior Warehouse / Production Environment Experience.
    • Experience with Forklift / Order Picker operation.
    • Experience with Warehouse Management System / Barcode Technology. NetSuite experience a plus.
    • Demonstrated history of success in leadership roles with direct people supervision, coaching, performance feedback, and team accountability.
    • Experience supporting warehouse safety programs, reinforcing safe work practices, and maintaining compliance with applicable safety requirements.
    • Knowledge of 5S principles and experience sustaining workplace organization, visual controls, cleanliness, and audit readiness.
    • Ability to use KPI data to identify trends, communicate performance expectations, and drive corrective actions.
    • Ability to operate various equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and scissor lifts.
    • Ability to lift twenty-five pounds; up to seventy pounds if necessary.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Will regularly be required to assist with the loading or unloading of products and materials for shipping or restocking vehicles. As such, must be able to: Perform manual tasks such as bending, reaching, standing, sitting, lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices.

    The ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
