What we are looking for:
Grammer is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Delphos, OH. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team environment. This individual will have an opportunity to make lasting and positive changes in our team!
What you will be doing:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, staffing, and compliance with safety procedures.
- Lead logistics shift planning, shift handovers, and related documentation to ensure smooth operational continuity.
- Execute and manage stock transfers in SAP while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Lead the receiving team responsible for unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring proper warehouse placement.
- Supervise the production staging team to ensure materials are accurately and efficiently prepared for production.
- Lead the picking, packing, and labeling team responsible for accurate and timely fulfillment of production orders.
- Plan and coordinate cycle counts, post inventory deviations, and conduct root cause analysis to identify and prevent recurring discrepancies.
- Maintain high levels of inventory and stock accuracy through effective controls, audits, and process improvements.
- Conduct and coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions accordingly.
- Coordinate shipping schedules with truck drivers and transportation providers to ensure timely and efficient outbound deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and logically structured warehouse while supporting warehouse layout improvements and 5S initiatives.
- Project involvement and lead in logistic improvements, fork truck routes, scanning systems, obsolete management, among others.
- Participate in plant physical inventory as required.
- Adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices such as; utilizing personal protective equipment and proper attire in keeping with safety standards.
- Comply with all ISO 16949 & ISO-14001 procedures and work instructions related to job description.
- This person reports directly to the MP&L Manager
