    Summary: Provide direct supervision to shipper(s), receiver(s), material handlers and driver(s).

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    Assure on-time shipments by monitoring orders, assigning internal resources, coordinating with other departments and working with transportation resources outside of the Assure accuracy of material movement transactions including receipts, shipments and inter/intraplant transfers.     Education/Experience: Two-year college degree required.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise 4-6 employees in the materials department. Is responsible for overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
