WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Are you an experienced warehouse leader who knows how to build strong teams and keep operations running safely and efficiently?
E.A. Sween is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, develop employees, maintain food-safety standards, and help the operation achieve its service, productivity, and financial goals.
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on leader with experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply-chain operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse employees
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Enforce safety procedures and proper equipment usage
- Manage attendance, performance, and employee-relations concerns
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, FSMA, food-safety, and Best Practice requirements
- Monitor inventory accuracy, product quality, date codes, and FIFO practices
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and internal departments
- Track productivity, service, quality, and financial performance
- Investigate operational or safety concerns and implement corrective actions
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
WHAT YOU NEED
- Five or more years of warehouse, distribution, or supply-chain experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Experience with ERP, warehouse, or inventory-management systems preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Push or pull up to 250 lbs.
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, kneel, and squat
- Work in temperatures around 35°F for extended periods
- Climb in and out of warehouse equipment as needed
