Pay Range: $30/hr. - $38/hr. based on experience and qualifications.
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all product movements, raw and finished goods inventories and organization, development, and performance of the warehouse team. The Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for transportation, raw material acceptance procedures, off-site warehousing and performance tracking of manpower and materials.
This role will be on our 2nd shift (M-F 1:00pm - 9:30pm + weekend work as needed) with weekend work as needed to support the business.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Lead by example to build a high-performing team culture centered on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Train new hires and on-going staff members in proper warehouse processes and develop any training documentation need it.
- Oversee receiving, put-away, inventory storage, and outbound processes for both raw and finished food products
- Build and manage daily and weekly work schedules that support volume needs and service levels
- Work with the logistics department to optimize daily inbound/outbound schedule.
- Drive weekly pre-shift meeting with focus on performance metrics and ensure smooths handoff.
- Promote behavior changes around inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and material flow.
- In collaboration with the Logistic team support all OTIF reduction initiatives.
- Promote compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Enforce consistent accountability and recognize strong performance.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies as well as damage products through performance coaching and accountability.
- Perform other duties as needed to support a high-performance operation.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING WITH YOU:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of proven leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proven leadership in a warehouse or cold storage environment, ideally with food products
- Solid experience with WMS or D365 is a plus.
- Fork-lift certification required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
- Must possess strong math skills, unit of measure conversion.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Sound decision-making and analytical skills
- This position requires the ability to withstand working in a cold environment and stand for extended periods of time.
- This position is a day shift role; however, hours may extend beyond the typical workday, and some weekend work may be required during peak season.
