Location: Millington, TN 38053 (100% On-site)
Pay Rate: $22.50/hour
Shift: 1:00 PM CST - 9:30 PM CST

ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership & Operational Oversight

  • Guide & Prioritize: Lead daily operational workflows, assign tasks, and ensure logistics processes run smoothly and accurately.
  • Train & Support: Collaborate with supervisors to provide hands-on training, ongoing feedback, and support compliance and safety initiatives.
  • Process Excellence: Ensure operational activities meet service commitments and align with company policies and quality standards.
Advanced Logistics & Escalation Management
  • Specialized Handling: Manage expedited, high-priority, and sensitive shipments requiring close monitoring and precise tracking.
  • Customer & Carrier Operations: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing, tracking, and shipment-related issues while preparing detailed customer quotes.
  • Data & Reporting: Generate, analyze, and present operational reports to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and prevent delays.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers while managing detailed account profiles and service requirements.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations support.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to prioritize work, guide team members, and maintain a high-accuracy work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in tracking and tracing domestic and international shipments and proactively resolving delays.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Microsoft Word
    • Web-based logistics and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams, carriers, and customers.
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
