Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or related industry
• Experience operating forklifts preferred
• Basic computer proficiency required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license required

Job Duties

• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts and inventory
• Utilize inventory management and business systems to process receipt transactions
• Verify freight charges, invoices, and billing documentation for accuracy
• Notify customers when parts are ready for pickup
• Deliver parts and documentation to service personnel or designated will-call areas
• Match and file packing slips, purchase orders, and vendor documentation
• Pull parts from warehouse locations for customer pickup or shipment
• Prepare and ship parts using automated shipping software and shipping documentation
• Assign and maintain warehouse storage locations for inventory
• Restock product displays and warehouse inventory as needed
• Assist customers with retrieving parts and loading merchandise into vehicles
• Offload delivery trucks using diesel or propane-powered forklifts
• Monitor inventory reports and maintain inventory accuracy
• Process inquiries regarding product part numbers and warehouse locations
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and work environment
• Fabricate hoses using hose-cutting equipment and drill press machinery
• Operate battery workstations to dispense battery acid when required

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
• Ability to work while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, welding shields, hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and safety vests
• Ability to use hand tools, fuel hoses, and lubrication systems
• Ability to climb onto and off construction or mobile equipment
• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing 50-75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
