Warehouse Specialist

The Warehouse Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the company’s hospitality services on-site and off-site through quality control of all packs, equipment testing / routine maintenance, inventory management, and facility maintenance.Job Duties and Responsibilities include · Picking and packing supplies into crates to support each hospitality service.· Receive and stock deliveries of perishable items, equipment, and catering supplies.· Supply deliveries & pick-ups· Warehouse safety, inventory, organization and equipment management.   

· Equipment maintenance, cleaning, and overseeing repairs. 

· Facility maintenance and supply inventory· Prepping food for shows· At times, swap warehouse shifts to drive to deliver equipment to a tradeshow.· Actively participates in department meetings.· Supports 4-6 hospitality events each year. Each event is 3-5 days in duration.Required Qualifications:· Strong verbal communication skills· Basic computer skills (typing, web browsing, etc.)· Some weekends are required.· Ability to lift 50+ lbs. with minimal support.Preferred Qualifications:· 3+ years of experience in shipping / warehouse industry 

· Hospitality background in hotels, convention centers, tradeshows, event management, hospitality or catering companies is a plus.· Can work in a highly autonomous setting and is a self-starter.A can-do attitude
