Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or packaging experience is a plus.
• Forklift or tow motor certification required.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot basic equipment.
• Basic math and computer skills for weight verification, product counts, and daily documentation.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to repeatedly get on and off a forklift throughout the shift.
• Regular standing, walking, reaching, handling, and gripping, with occasional sitting, stooping, and crouching.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to thirty-five pounds and frequently lift up to forty-five pounds.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with moving mechanical equipment, elevated or confined areas, and exposure to noise, heat, vibration, and other industrial conditions.

Job Duties

• Manually package products into boxes according to specifications and operate automated boxing equipment based on programmed weight requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance, make minor adjustments, and troubleshoot basic issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
• Verify product weight, count, and packaging quality to meet production standards.
• Label, seal, and stage completed boxes for shipment.
• Safely operate a forklift or tow motor in confined areas of the facility.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete daily 5S responsibilities within the steel warehouse.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, with availability for overtime and weekend work as needed.

As a Warehouse Sorter you will pick customer orders, verify inventory, pack products securely, prepare shipments, apply shipping labels, and stage completed orders for delivery. You will use scanners, warehouse systems, and packing materials while maintaining inventory accuracy, meeting productivity goals, and supporting safe, efficient warehouse operations.
