Warehouse Slab Supervisor

Essential Functions:Maintain organized, clean and safe warehouse environmentFollow proper shipping and receiving protocolEfficiently pull, pack, strap, and stage ordersCheck incoming and outgoing orders for accuracyLoad and/or unload OTR trailersPlan and schedule daily work of the warehouse teamSupervise and lead staff to obtain a safe and efficient work environmentInspect products for quality and process quality issue reportsCommunicate issues to CSR's and purchasing staffAssist with inventory management and control Learn all product specifications including their size, color, shape, material, and typeInspect forklifts and warehouse equipment daily and report any issues to warehouse managerSafely operate stand-up reach and sit-down forkliftAttend all safety meetings and uphold all warehouse safety protocol and instructionWork cooperatively in team environmentWork within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals, and directives. These crossover duties may include but are not limited to: Gain knowledge of all current and new product linesEnter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up proceduresFollow proper pulling, packing, strapping, staging, unloading, shipping and receiving protocolComply with all safety policies and protocols.

Brief Summary: The warehouse supervisor is responsible for planning the daily work of warehouse associates to ensure they are working safely and efficiently. Warehouse supervisors should be looking for ways to solve problems and improve processes. You are also tasted with checking emails, approving the quality of products, send quality issues reports, and communicating with staff.
