Overall Requirements: Our Operations Department is looking for a Warehouse Shipping Lead to support shipping, packaging, and foaming operations. This role is responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely shipment of customer orders, ensuring packaging and foaming processes are completed according to quality standards, maintaining shipping documentation, and supporting compliance with established operational procedures. The position supports the efficient flow of products throughout the facility by monitoring shipment accuracy, assisting with process improvements, and ensuring products are properly packaged and prepared for delivery.

This position is focused on shipping operations, packaging and foaming processes, documentation accuracy, workflow coordination, and process administration. It is not a supervisory or management position and does not have responsibility for employee hiring, discipline, performance evaluations, scheduling, compensation decisions, attendance management, or other personnel-related matters. Employee management responsibilities remain with the Operations Manager or other designated management personnel.

This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting customer delivery requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily shipping, packaging, and foaming activities to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Verify shipping documentation, labels, packing lists, and carrier requirements.
• Monitor shipment accuracy and investigate shipping or packaging discrepancies.
• Ensure products are packaged and prepared according to company and customer specifications.
• Support inventory accuracy by maintaining proper shipping records and transaction documentation.
• Assist with employee training on shipping, packaging, foaming, quality, and safety procedures.
• Communicate workflow issues, delays, and operational concerns to management.
• Promote compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Production, Inventory, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials and products.

Education & Experience

• 3+ years of warehouse, shipping, packaging, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous lead or workflow coordination experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of shipping and warehouse operations.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.

Working Conditions

• Warehouse and production environment.
• Regular interaction with warehouse, production, inventory, and quality teams.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.
