Warehouse Associate (Shipping & LTL)
Pay: $19.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility and OT may be required)
About the Opportunity
Our client (a commercial print shop) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping and logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on warehouse experience who is comfortable working with computers and managing shipping processes, including LTL shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
- Process shipments using computer-based systems
- Coordinate and handle LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments
- Generate shipping labels and documentation
- Work with carriers such as UPS and FedEx
- Track shipments and resolve basic shipping issues
- Maintain organized and safe warehouse space
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse and shipping experience required
- Experience with LTL shipping strongly preferred
- Comfortable using computers for shipping and tracking
- Familiarity with UPS WorldShip and/or FedEx Ship Manager is a plus (not required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Dependable with strong work ethic and team mindset
