Join JB Tools as a Warehouse Receiving Specialist in Livonia, MI, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring inventory is received, verified, organized, and stored accurately. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining an organized warehouse and helping keep operations running efficiently.


Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload trucks and move inventory safely using forklifts (hi-lo), pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Organize, label, and put away inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Count, sort, and stage boxes and pallets for storage and replenishment.
• Report missing, damaged, or incorrect items to vendors and management promptly.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area and warehouse environment.
• Follow established receiving procedures and warehouse safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and workflow throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the workday.
• Experience operating a forklift (hi-lo) and pallet jack is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
