Warehouse Porter – Monday – Friday 1st Shift – 7:00am
Fond du Lac Cold Storage, located in Edison, NJ, was founded in 1998. We specialize in Temperature Controlled warehousing of wine, cheese, chocolate & craft beer. We have more than 75 refrigerated trucks that deliver wine to NJ and NY. We provide pick & pack handling and a variety of special value-added services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, using scrubbing machine to clean floors, removal of garbage, organize pallets in the warehouse.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Organize custodial closets and spaces.
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment.
- Bring/Take-away cases of merchandise into/from the warehouse floor.
- Load/Unload cases of merchandise into/from containers.
- General Warehouse Labor as assigned.
Job Skills Required:
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong attention to details.
- Able to lift up-to 50 pounds frequently.
- Able to stand throughout the shift 8 hours/day.
- Self-motivated and works at a fast pace to be productive.
- Reliable and has proven work ethic.
