Warehouse Packer - 1st & 2nd Shifts
Position Overview: A warehouse packer is responsible for packaging good quality product according to the Customer/Company specifications. This Candidate must be able to make and assemble the orders according to the picking tickets. He/She must follow all Safety/Quality Rules.
Essential Functions:- Always follow all Safety and Quality rules to ensure we provide a delicious and safe product to the Consumer
- Tasting the popcorn and notifying lead if inedible, based on Companys Standards
- Read all Picking Tickets for special instructions
- Know the different bags, tins and lids in order to package the product/orders correctly
- He/She must learn all the different recipes flavors including LTOs to successfully package orders
- Know the different packages such as; bundles, party or shorty packs and packaging methods
- Ensuring all tins are cleaned and bags properly sealed prior to being packaged to preserve freshness of the product.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the day
- Completing reports neatly and accurately
- Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, work area and equipment daily
- Follow all safety guidelines when operating machinery and throughout the facility
- He/She will be cross-trainer in the kitchen, when need be he/she will assist in the kitchen
Requirements:- Standing and walking for 8-12 hrs. a day
- Constant bending, twisting and reaching throughout the day
- Lifting up to 75 lbs
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail & following instructions
- Must be a team Player
- Must pass a background check
