We are hiring dependable Warehouse Package Handlers for a fast-paced package distribution facility. This is a physically active position that involves unloading, sorting, and loading packages while working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Safely unload packages from trailers
- Sort packages accurately by ZIP code and delivery area
- Load packages onto trucks for delivery
- Inspect packages and report any visible damage
- Keep the warehouse and work areas clean and organized
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
- Work with team members to complete daily package processing
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand and remain active throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Comfortable working in hot or cold temperatures depending on the season
- Ability to understand verbal and written safety instructions
- Previous warehouse or package-handling experience is preferred but not required
SCHEDULE:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 3:30am to 7:30am
Work Environment
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying. Work gloves and closed-toe work boots are strongly recommended.
