Outbound General Labor – Warehouse
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.70 per hour
Job Summary
The Outbound General Laborer is responsible for assisting with the preparation, staging, and movement of outbound freight to ensure accurate and timely shipping. This role supports daily warehouse operations by performing physical labor while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and label outbound shipments according to order specifications
- Assist with loading trailers and containers, ensuring safe and secure placement of product
- Perform quality checks to verify order accuracy and packaging integrity
- Use RF scanners or manual paperwork to track outbound inventory
- Palletize, shrink-wrap, and stage completed orders in designated outbound areas
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company standards
- Follow all safety guidelines and report hazards or incidents immediately
- Support team leads and equipment operators with additional outbound tasks as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 6+ months in warehouse experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
