Job Title: Outbound Coordinator (Cold Storage Environment)
Location: ColdTrack Facility
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (schedule may extend based on late pickups)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Outbound Coordinator to oversee and manage outgoing shipments in a fast-paced cold storage environment. This role is responsible for coordinating pickups, communicating with drivers and the logistics team, and ensuring all outbound loads are accurate and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate departures
- Communicate with drivers and the Logistics Department regarding pickup schedules and delays
- Load and stage outbound freight using a forklift while following safety procedures
- Verify shipment details, including product counts, documentation, and load accuracy
- Prepare shipping paperwork, bills of lading, and manifests
- Monitor pickup schedules and adjust workflow as needed when delays occur
- Maintain organization of outbound dock areas and staging lanes
- Follow all safety, OSHA, and food-grade handling guidelines
- Work in cold storage conditions while using proper PPE
Requirements:
- Ability to speak and understand English for clear communication with drivers and internal teams
- Forklift experience required
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics coordination experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours when pickups run late
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods
