General Supply Clerk / Warehouse Picker

Pay Rate: $17.00–$19.75/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time

Available Shifts:

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM — 2 openings
  • Saturday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM — 1 opening
  • Saturday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM — 1 opening


Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Supply Clerk / Warehouse Picker to support inventory and supply operations. This position is responsible for picking and distributing supplies, stocking inventory locations, performing cycle counts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring products are properly rotated and stored.


Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and fill supply requests accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Deliver and route products to appropriate departments and inventory locations.
  • Stock and replenish inventory and customer supply areas.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain secondary inventory locations.
  • Check stock for accurate quantities, proper rotation, and expired/outdated products.
  • Identify chargeable items and apply appropriate charge stickers.
  • Review requisitions for accuracy and enter information into the Materials Management Information System (MMIS).
  • Maintain inventory security and product integrity.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying shipment accuracy.
  • Respond to requests for specific supplies.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and accurate inventory areas.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical warehouse and inventory duties throughout the shift.


Preferred:

  • 1+ year of hospital, medical/surgical supply, warehouse, or inventory-control experience.
  • Experience with a Materials Management Information System (MMIS).
  • Experience with inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and credits.
  • Experience with inventory adjustments, cycle counting, and perpetual inventory.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying of up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying of 21–50 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing/pulling of up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasional pushing/pulling of 21–75 lbs.
  • Frequent reaching, grasping, and handling of supplies.
