Warehouse Operator

The Shop Lead / Parts & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily shop and field operations by managing inventory, coordinating logistics, maintaining shop organization, and assisting in equipment maintenance and repair activities. This role partners closely with the Operations Manager to ensure technicians have the tools, parts, and equipment needed to safely and efficiently support customer operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr – $23.00/hr on W2 without benefits
Shift: Monday - Friday 40 - 45 hours per week


Position Summary
The Shop Lead / Parts & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily shop and field operations by managing inventory, coordinating logistics, maintaining shop organization, and assisting in equipment maintenance and repair activities. This role partners closely with the Operations Manager to ensure technicians have the tools, parts, and equipment needed to safely and efficiently support customer operations while maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager with daily operations and planning.
• Build, repair, refurbish, and test equipment.
• Support field technicians and assist with job execution.
• Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
• Receive, inspect, stock, and track inventory.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor inventory and submit reorder requests.
• Deliver parts and materials to field locations.
• Coordinate shipments, freight, and material transfers.
• Support procurement and vendor coordination.
• Operate forklifts and handling equipment safely.
• Follow all safety policies and report concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain.

Key Performance Expectations

• Maintain inventory accuracy of 85% or higher.
• Ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Complete inspections and corrective actions.
• Support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand, walk, bend, and work in various environments.
• Safely operate equipment and vehicles.
