Warehouse Operations Manager
Kalon Executive Search is partnering with a growing organization in the manufacturing and consumer products industry to identify an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager. This role is ideal for a hands-on warehouse leader who enjoys balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution while leading teams, improving processes, managing inventory, and driving operational performance.
The Warehouse Operations Manager will provide leadership across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring safe, efficient, and standardized operations while driving inventory accuracy, productivity, customer service, cost performance, and continuous improvement. This position will lead warehouse teams and partner closely with manufacturing, supply chain, planning, quality, customer service, procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
This is a highly data-driven leadership opportunity for an individual who can leverage operational metrics and warehouse systems to identify trends, solve problems, improve processes, and drive accountability. The successful candidate will also play a key role in developing high-performing teams and building scalable warehouse operations to support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and associates while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Manage staffing, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and employee development in partnership with Human Resources.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, quality, labor efficiency, capacity, service levels, and cost performance.
- Analyze operational data and prepare dashboards and reports to identify trends, address performance gaps, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counting, inventory transfers, material movements, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Utilize SAP and warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records and support efficient material flow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, warehouse organization, material flow, inventory accuracy, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain high standards for warehouse organization, housekeeping, 5S, safety, and compliance with applicable GMP and company requirements.
- Manage warehouse operating expenses and identify opportunities to improve labor efficiency, productivity, and overall cost performance.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Customer Service, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless material flow and operational execution.
- Support equipment evaluations, capital planning, vendor discussions, and contingency planning for operational disruptions.
- Develop and standardize warehouse processes, procedures, and best practices across multiple locations.
- Support new product launches, product changes, labeling requirements, and other initiatives that impact warehouse operations.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen warehouse capabilities, develop leadership talent, and build scalable operations that support continued business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
- Five or more years of progressive warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and operational teams.
- Strong hands-on SAP experience; five or more years preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems and shipping/warehouse technology.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of GMP requirements required.
- Experience in food, dietary supplements, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience managing operational KPIs, financial performance, labor utilization, and productivity metrics.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Strong project management, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Compensation: $109,000-$152,000 base salary, depending on experience
