Job Summary: This role is responsible for leading day-to-day operations within a distribution center, ensuring efficient and accurate inbound and outbound processes. The position involves developing and managing a productive team, fostering a safe and quality-focused work environment, and collaborating with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily receiving and shipping operations for accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports to drive operational excellence.
- Manage delivery services, driver schedules, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement procedures to maintain facility sanitation, equipment, and inventory accuracy.
- Control operating expenses and contribute to annual budget development.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience managing warehouse operations.
- Strong people management and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
This role requires experience in a pharmacy or pharmaceutical wholesale/distribution environment, with a strong understanding of related regulations.
