Description

humano is seeking a strong, hands-on leader to oversee the daily operations at our Cedar Hill, TX location. This role is ideal for someone with experience in warehouse operations, staffing, HR, and administration, particularly those who have worked with high-volume staffing environments.

We're looking for a person who leads, by example, communicates effectively with all levels of the operation, resolves issues professionally, and creates an organized, accountable, and positive work environment.

Schedule:

5 days a week, full time

Must be available to respond to operational issues outside of standard business hours when necessary.

Schedule includes flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Salary:

$60,000 $80,000 annually, based on experience

What You'll Do:

Leadership & Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day warehouse workforce and operations.
  • Oversee a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation
  • Provide leadership across multiple shifts.
  • Build strong relationships with warehouse leadership and humano associates.
  • Serve as the primary communication link between the customer, warehouse management, and humano employees.
  • Promote accountability, professionalism, and a positive team culture.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop associates and frontline leaders.
  • Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and make sound business decisions.
  • Ensure safety, productivity, attendance, and performance expectations are consistently met.

HR & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Oversee interviewing and orientation of new associates.
  • Manage employee relations, coaching conversations, corrective actions, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Coordinate attendance tracking, timekeeping, payroll approvals, and scheduling.
  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Partner with Recruiting and Operations teams to ensure staffing levels meet business needs.
  • Complete reporting, audits, and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Maintain confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, staffing, or manufacturing environment.
  • HR and administrative experience including employee relations, documentation, timekeeping, and compliance.
  • Experience with a high-volume staffing agency is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership presence with the confidence to make decisions and hold others accountable.
  • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel and comfortable learning workforce management systems.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
