BRIGHTPICK is looking for an Warehouse Operations Coordinator to be the full-time, on-site backbone of our North American tech center in Austin, TX - the person who keeps the facility running end to end, both physically and administratively. Flexibility, initiative, and a hands-on approach will be key as we scale across North America. If you're a practical operator who is equally comfortable on a forklift and in a spreadsheet, and you geek out about robots, automation, 3D vision sensors, AMRs, etc… we recommend you read on.
On any given day you might unload a freight shipment in the morning, set up an Autopicker for a customer demo before lunch, swap a routine part on a Retriever in the afternoon, and close out the day by ordering supplies, coordinating a broker for an outbound international shipment, and getting the office ready for tomorrow's visitor. Roughly 60% of your week is warehouse and logistics and 40% is facility and office operations. This is not a deep mechatronics or engineering role, and it is not a desk-bound admin role - all hands-on robot work is routine and guided by written procedures and our remote-support team, with anything beyond that escalated to our mechatronics specialists. By owning the routine physical work and the day-to-day office glue, you free up our senior specialists to travel and deploy at customer sites, and you give the Austin office the full-time, on-site presence it has been missing.
