You’ll balance leading people, coordinating carriers, and ensuring every document is precise so production has what it needs and shipments leave on time.

    What You’ll Lead and Do

    • Direct daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving priorities so work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
    • Coach, train, and support a team of approximately 3–4 warehouse associates, assigning tasks and monitoring outcomes.
    • Plan inbound receipts, outbound shipments, and carrier pickups; communicate schedule changes and delays.
    • Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, shipping records, and receiving paperwork.
    • Confirm quantities, condition, labeling, and destination for all incoming and outgoing materials.

    • Partner with production and other departments to keep materials and finished goods flowing through the facility.
    • Work with carriers, drivers, vendors, and internal teams to address logistics issues promptly.
    • Troubleshoot shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory problems and drive timely resolution.
    • Reinforce safety procedures, equipment use standards, housekeeping, and company policies.
    • Inspect material-handling equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
    • Spot and implement improvements to layout, workflow, inventory accuracy, and shipping efficiency.
    • Jump in hands-on during peak volume, absences, or whenever operations demand it.
