Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Collaborate closely with managers, supervisors, and other employees on construction sites to better understand equipment needs and quickly resolve problems
- Field repairs with occasional travel
- Keep records of all maintenance and repair operations, including the condition of the equipment, service history, and part usage
- Perform inventory controls
- Keep warehouse area clean and assist in making a safe working environment
- Operate a forklift
- Upkeep of grounds surrounding warehouse
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate warehouse vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial equipment mechanics
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Valid driver's license
- Good, safe driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects over 50 pounds
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in operating forklift
