Warehouse & Materials Coordinator$15–$20/Hour | Reading, PAVertex Mechanical is looking for a dependable Warehouse & Materials Coordinator to help keep our installation crews equipped, organized, and ready to work. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with materials, keeping inventory in order, and making sure the warehouse operates efficiently from one day to the next.Since 2002, Vertex Mechanical has built its business around dependable service and strong relationships. Your work will directly impact how prepared our crews are when they leave for the job each day.You'll be responsible for:Pulling and organizing equipment, materials, and tools for upcoming installation projects.Preparing loads for installation crews and helping safely load and unload company vehicles.Checking in deliveries and placing received materials in their appropriate storage locations.Recording materials and equipment moving in and out of the warehouse.Processing unused materials returned from job sites and getting them back into inventory.Assisting with overstock organization and coordinating returns with the Installation Coordinator.Maintaining an orderly warehouse, yard, and storage areas.Supporting inventory counts and helping identify shortages or discrepancies.Following safe material-handling practices and keeping work areas free of hazards.Jumping in wherever needed to help the warehouse and installation teams stay on schedule.What We're Looking ForThe right person doesn't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good organizational habits, and the ability to take ownership of their responsibilities.You'll need:High school diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseAbility to meet company insurance requirements for driving a company vehicleStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to prioritize work and stay productive when managing multiple responsibilitiesDependable attendance and a consistent work ethicAbility to work effectively in a busy, hands-on environmentExperience that would be a plus:Forklift operationWarehouse or inventory managementMaterial handlingExperience working around HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or other trades materialsAbility to work independently and recognize what needs to be done without constant directionWhat Vertex Mechanical OffersWe want our employees to have more than just a paycheck.
