Warehouse Materials Coordinator (Intermediate)

This position is a strong fit for someone with hands-on warehouse and materials experience who is comfortable working with inventory systems, coordinating across multiple teams, and taking ownership of inventory accuracy and material flow. You’ll work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Projects, Logistics, and suppliers to help ensure the right materials are available when and where they’re needed.

Warehouse Materials Coordinator in St. Albans, WV

We’re looking for a Warehouse Materials Coordinator to support warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations at an industrial facility in St. Albans, WV.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands warehouse operations and knows how to keep materials moving safely, accurately, and efficiently. You’ll work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Projects, Logistics, and suppliers to help ensure the right materials are available when and where they’re needed.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory storage and effective space utilization.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks/lifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities while following established operational procedures.
• Verify incoming vendor shipments against purchase orders and identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter inventory and receiving information into SAP and assist with reconciliation.
• Review stocking levels and report obsolete, restocked, and minimum/maximum inventory requirements.
• Monitor warehouse capacity and storage limitations and recommend solutions when space becomes a concern.
• Verify inventory numbers, descriptions, quantities, units, and storage locations for accuracy.
• Conduct periodic physical inventories and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Project teams to improve order fulfillment and material availability.
• Work with Logistics teams and suppliers to coordinate pickup schedules, delivery times, and routing.
• Support inventory procedures, controls, and performance indicators across warehouse operations.
• Maintain a strong focus on Safety, Delivery, Cost, and Quality performance targets.
