Location: Charleston, WV
Type: Contract + full benefits
Pay: $25/hr
 
Description
Warehouse Materials Coordinator will support warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and material movement. This position will ensure materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, and distributed while maintaining inventory accuracy and safe, efficient warehouse operations.
 
Responsibilities
  • Perform shipping and receiving, including receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping materials
  • Verify vendor shipments against purchase orders (POs) and identify discrepancies
  • Complete inventory transactions, material receipts, and reconciliation in SAP
  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks/lifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
  • Verify material numbers, descriptions, quantities, units of measure, and storage locations
  • Monitor inventory levels, including obsolete/excess materials and minimum/maximum stocking levels
  • Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Operations, Projects, Logistics, and suppliers to support material availability and order fulfillment
  • Coordinate material pickups, deliveries, and routing with logistics teams and suppliers
  • Monitor warehouse space utilization and identify storage or capacity concerns
  • Follow established inventory procedures and meet Safety, Delivery, Cost, and Quality performance targets
 
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, materials coordination, inventory control, or shipping/receiving
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP/inventory system preferred
  • Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar warehouse equipment
  • Strong inventory accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a warehouse environment
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
