Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Material Handler II to support warehouse and logistics operations at our Watsontown facility. This hands-on position is responsible for accurately picking, preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders while maintaining accurate physical and system inventory.
The ideal candidate has proven experience with warehouse processes, material-handling equipment, and warehouse-management or ERP systems. Success in this position requires a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, productivity, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, prepare, package, label, stage, and ship customer orders.
- Verify products, quantities, documentation, and shipping information before orders leave the facility.
- Receive, inspect, record, and properly put away incoming materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory through daily and weekly cycle counts.
- Verify material picks, receipts, put-away transactions, inventory adjustments, and product locations.
- Ensure physical inventory agrees with information recorded in the warehouse-management or ERP system.
- Properly slot and store materials to support safety, accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment.
- Safely and efficiently operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, pallet stackers, forklifts, reach trucks, and turret trucks.
- Complete required equipment inspections and promptly report damage, malfunctions, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain shipping, receiving, inventory, and operational documentation.
- Ensure records and paperwork comply with applicable company and regulatory requirements.
- Enter inventory and transaction information accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with team members and supervisors to accomplish daily assignments, group goals, and operational objectives.
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve safety, quality, workflow, and productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse and logistics responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, distribution, shipping, receiving, or a related field.
- Advanced working knowledge of general warehouse processes and inventory-control practices.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment.
- Experience operating reach trucks and turret trucks strongly preferred.
- Experience using a warehouse-management system, ERP system, barcode scanner, or similar inventory technology.
- Basic computer, keyboarding, and data-entry skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Safety-conscious approach to every assignment.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to complete required company equipment training and authorization.
Physical Requirements

- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, climb, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical activities.
- Ability to safely enter, exit, and operate warehouse equipment.
