Material Handler
Location: Edwardsville, IL
$22/hr
The Opportunity
Capstone Logistics is seeking motivated Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to join our warehouse operations team in Edwardsville, IL. This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment where you'll play a critical part in keeping freight moving efficiently throughout the supply chain. What You'll Do
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
- Sort, palletize, repack, and move products throughout the warehouse
- Perform freight handling and material movement duties
- Audit shipments for accuracy
- Assist with warehouse housekeeping and cleanup
- Follow all safety procedures and site-specific operating guidelines
- Complete additional duties as assigned by site leadership
What We're Looking For
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift and carry 25-75 lbs. throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and commitment to safety
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Equipment experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and participate in paid training
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of products weighing 25-75 lbs.
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the workday
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and maintain productivity standards
