PrideNow is seeking a
Warehouse Material Handler to join our team supporting a leading company in the life sciences industry in
Devens, Massachusetts.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and products throughout the warehouse and production areas. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, order picking, inventory support, preparing outbound shipments, and operating material-handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and freight
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Pick orders accurately according to product number, quantity, lot, batch, or serial number
- Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Prepare products for shipment by labeling, wrapping, bundling, and palletizing
- Process outbound shipments and verify quantities and shipping information
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate shrink-wrap equipment as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas
- Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned
Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Entry-level warehouse candidates are welcome to apply
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Pallet jack experience is a plus
- Shrink-wrap machine experience is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with a strong focus on safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
- Basic computer and warehouse system skills preferred
- OSHA Forklift or HAZMAT certification is a plus
- Reliable attendance and ability to work the required schedule
