    Warehouse Manager

    Responsibilities/Essential Functions include:
    • Plan and coordinate daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
    • Ensure adherence to inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and addressing discrepancies.
    • Oversee the accurate receipt, storage, and retrieval of goods, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and organization.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and carriers on scheduled deliveries, resolve shipment discrepancies, and manage returns.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the timely flow of merchandise out to the sales floor, rental, or delivery.
    • Identify areas for improvement to drive efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and documentation related to warehouse activities, including inventory levels, shipping manifests, and safety inspections.
    • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and performance.
    • Set clear performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
    • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and collaboration.
    • Assist in keeping work area and store clean and organized.
    • Enforce safety protocols to protect employees, customers, and warehouse equipment.
    Education and Work Experience Required:
    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Min. of 5 years of management experience; preferably in warehouse environment.
    • Previous experience with construction tools and equipment preferred.

    • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficient computer skills for accessing inventory management software systems.
    • Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices related to warehousing.

    Physical Capabilities Required:

    • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
    • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
    • Physical stamina for loading/unloading equipment.
    • Flexibility and agility to bend, stoop, and reach.
    • Must have a sufficient visual acuity to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work.
