    Position Summary

    The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations across a multi-site food and mineral supply chain network, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, shipping, and receiving of raw materials and finished goods. This role oversees inventory accuracy, warehouse compliance, cost control, and customer service execution while coordinating closely with Quality, Customer Service, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, and third-party logistics partners.

    The Warehouse Manager supports and coordinates operations across multiple warehouse locations both remotely and in person, ensuring same-day turnaround requirements are met and maintaining strong partnerships throughout the supply chain network. This position also provides leadership for environmental compliance initiatives and international shipping activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead daily warehouse operations across multiple company-owned and third-party warehouse locations. Along with coordinating the movement of equipment, materials, and inventory.
    • Own inventory accuracy for warehouse, plant, and third-party storage facilities. Manage and oversee cycle count programs, inventory reconciliations, and inventory control processes.
    • Ensure proper storage, handling, and movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
    • Maintain knowledge of internal material transfer processes, equipment, and inventory management systems.
    • Manage shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate product movement.
    • Coordinate domestic and international shipping activities, paperwork and documentation ensuring they are accurate, complete, and compliant.
    • Support environmental and safety compliance initiatives and ensure applicable regulations are followed. Maintain compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and warehouse operating standards.
    • Support and coordinate warehouse operations across a network of 8+ warehouses. Provide both on-site and remote operational support. Act as a central point of coordination across internal teams and partner networks. Establish consistent warehouse practices, processes, and performance expectations across locations.
    • Partner with warehouse teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
    • Partner and serve as a key liaison with Customer Service, Quality, Supply Chain Planning, Operations, and external partners.
    • Facilitate communication among multiple stakeholders to ensure shipment approvals are obtained and communicated effectively. Support same-day order fulfillment by coordinating with Quality and Customer Service teams. Follow up with all stakeholders to ensure approved shipments are executed and communicated successfully.
    • Manage warehouse-related costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Work with internal and external partners to optimize transportation, storage, and operational expenses. Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. Support budget planning and resource allocation activities.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
    • 7-10 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, or supply chain management.
    • Experience managing inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse operations.
    • Experience working in a food, ingredient, mineral, manufacturing, or related industrial environment.
    • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse best practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams.
    • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, SQF standards, FDA regulations, and OSHA requirements.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide effective support across multiple locations.

    Preferred

    • International shipping and export documentation experience.
    • Experience managing or coordinating third-party warehouse relationships.
    • Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
    • Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).
    • Environmental compliance experience within manufacturing or distribution operations.

    Work Environment

    • Five days per week on-site.
    • Travel between warehouse locations as required.
    • Combination of warehouse, plant, and office environments.
    • Ability to work in food manufacturing, mineral processing, or industrial warehouse settings.
