Warehouse Manager - Federal Customer
(on-site role - 5 days per week. Chantilly VA) Requires active TS/SCI clearance
Job summary
The Logistics & Warehouse Operations professional supports Dell Mission Operations by ensuring mission equipment, materials, and supply workflows are received, tracked, stored, issued, and replenished accurately in a secure environment. This role is responsible for inventory control, warehouse operations, procurement coordination, and asset accountability across day-to-day program execution. The ideal candidate brings leadership, strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate logistics processes in support of mission continuity.
Key responsibilities
• Manage receiving, storage, issuance, transfer, and shipping of program equipment and materials
• Maintain accurate inventory and asset accountability records across warehouse and field operations
• Provide leadership for junior team members, ensure status and risks are communicated to appropriate stakeholders, and support program reporting and deliverable requirements.
• Coordinate procurement requests, order tracking, and vendor follow-up activities
• Support material planning and replenishment to meet operational demand
• Conduct cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
• Prepare logistics status updates, inventory reports, and exception reporting
• Ensure compliance with site procedures, safety standards, and security requirements
• Partner with program, engineering, and field teams to prioritize mission-critical material needs.
Required qualifications
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or asset management operations
• Experience with inventory systems, ERP tools, or warehouse tracking platforms
• Strong understanding of asset control, shipping/receiving, and materials handling processes
• Ability to work onsite in a secure or controlled environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials weighing up to 50-75 pounds.
• Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program
Preferred qualifications
• Experience supporting government or classified programs
• Property book, asset accountability, or secure inventory experience
• Experience with KPI reporting, process improvement, or lean operations
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, or internal procurement teams
• Forklift, cage, or secure warehouse operations experience, if applicable
