    Purpose

    The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the entire operation of our Dallas distribution center, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations while delivering exceptional customer service. This position oversees inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, logistics coordination, facility maintenance, employee leadership, and continuous process improvement. The Warehouse Manager serves as the operational leader for the facility and works closely with Customer Service, Purchasing, Sales, and Executive Leadership to achieve company objectives. This role is ideal for someone energized by ownership, growth, and building something meaningful!


    Hours of operation: 7:30AM - 5PM, Monday-Friday.


    Responsibilities

    Direct all daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, and inventory management.

    Maintain an organized, clean, safe and efficient warehouse that supports operational excellence.

    Develop and improve warehouse processes to maximize productivity and accuracy.

    Monitor key operational metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

    Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, consolidation, slotting and process controls.

    Coordinate inbound and outbound freight.

    Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance, including forklifts and powered industrial equipment.

    Manage warehouse consumables, supplies, and facility needs.

    Support customers, drivers, vendors, and visitors with excellent customer service skills.

    Coordinate warehouse activities with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Sales.

    Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees.

    Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new team members.

    Foster a positive, respectful, and safety-focused work environment.

    Track and report warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, productivity, shipping performance, and safety metrics.

    Perform duties of supervised staff to meet OTIF deadlines and/or fill in when short staffed.


    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of warehouse or distribution management experience.
    • Experience supervising warehouse teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.
    • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
    • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and practices.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to think critically, solve problems effectively and creatively, and drive improvements.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Forklift certification.
    • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Principles.
