Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse and stockroom operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This newly created leadership position will be responsible for receiving inventory control, material replenishment, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse efficiency.

The Warehouse Manager will lead a team of approximately 5-7 employees and work closely with operations leadership to improve processes, maintain inventory accuracy, optimize material flow, and build a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. The anticipated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $95,000 a year plus bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stockroom activities, inventory control, material movement, and shipping/receiving.
  • Ensure incoming materials are accurately received, documented, labeled, and stored.
  • Manage inbound and outbound shipments, dock activities, and intercompany logistics.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure materials are replenished in a timely manner to support production.
  • Establish and maintain effective inventory control and cycle counting procedures.
  • Utilize ERP and RF scanning systems to accurately track inventory and material movement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5-7 warehouse employees.
  • Create staffing plans and schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across warehouse functions.
  • Establish performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, workflow, material flow, and inventory management.
  • Implement process improvements designed to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to promote consistency and operational excellence.
  • Support warehouse redesign and other continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, stockroom, distribution, or related operations.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience managing inventory control, receiving, material replenishment, and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Demonstrated success improving warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with AS400 or similar systems is a plus.
  • Experience using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Forklift and order picker experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse safety and material handling practices.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $94,997.00 per year
