We are seeking an experienced
Warehouse Manager to join our growing flooring company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the flooring industry and be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and organization of flooring materials.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations in a safe, organized, and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform regular cycle counts.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming flooring products and supplies.
- Prepare and stage customer orders for pickup and delivery.
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move flooring materials.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Coordinate with the sales team and installers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Supervise warehouse staff and promote a productive work environment.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Required: Previous experience working in the flooring industry.
- Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to become certified).
- Strong inventory management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy flooring products (up to 75 lbs.).
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
