 Pay Range: $20 - $25 per hour based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Cleaning & Facility Maintenance 

 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, loading docks, storage areas, and surrounding facility grounds
  • Sweep, mop, and operate floor-cleaning equipment, including warehouse floor scrubbers
  • Clean and maintain warehouse floors, aisles, walkways, and designated work areas to ensure safe and accessible conditions
  • Wipe down warehouse equipment, shelving, workstations, and other designated surfaces
  • Perform routine cleaning and minor facility maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Identify and report facility maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor
  • Assist with maintaining warehouse storage areas, shelving, and equipment organization

Product Breakage & Inventory Support 

 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and designated product breakage area
  • Clean up damaged products, spills, and broken packaging in accordance with company safety procedures
  • Properly separate and dispose of damaged products and packaging materials
  • Return eligible products to inventory as directed and in accordance with established procedures
  • Communicate product damage, breakage concerns, and inventory discrepancies to the appropriate warehouse or Inventory Control personnel
  • Assist with maintaining organized product storage and warehouse work areas

Employee Common Areas & Waste Management 

 

  • Clean and maintain employee breakrooms, kitchen areas, and other designated common spaces
  • Empty trash containers and properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and other designated facility materials as needed
  • Maintain designated waste disposal and recycling areas in a clean and orderly condition
  • Assist with general cleaning of office areas and other facility spaces as assigned

Supplies & Equipment Management 

 

  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, sanitation materials, and other designated warehouse maintenance products
  • Coordinate the ordering and replenishment of cleaning supplies and materials with the appropriate supervisor
  • Safely operate and maintain approved cleaning equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company procedures
  • Report damaged or malfunctioning cleaning equipment and coordinate necessary repairs
  • Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and secured when not in use

Safety & Operational Support 

 

  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable workplace safety requirements
  • Properly handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with product instructions and safety guidelines
  • Maintain clear aisles, walkways, emergency exits, and other designated access areas
  • Promptly identity and report spills, damaged materials, equipment concerns, and other potential safety hazards
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to complete cleaning and maintenance activities without disrupting daily operations
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, janitorial services, facility maintenance, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and safe chemical handling preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and reaching throughout the workday
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and handling of beverage cases, cleaning supplies, and warehouse materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional handling and movement of quarter barrels, half barrels, and other heavy beverage products using approved material-handling equipment or assistance as appropriate
  • Repetitive movement of products and materials from floor level to shelves and designated storage areas
  • Frequent pushing and pulling of cleaning equipment, waste containers, and other warehouse materials
  • Regular operation of warehouse floor scrubbers and other approved cleaning equipment
  • Occasional climbing of stairs and approved step stools or ladders
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, including refrigerated warehouse areas, loading docks, and outdoor conditions
  • Exposure to warehouse noise, moving equipment, cleaning chemicals, dust, and active loading dock environments
  • Regular use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling cleaning chemicals, damaged products, and other materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
