Warehouse & Logistics Manager

 

Position overview

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager oversees warehouse logistics and internal transport operations, ensuring efficient material flow, minimal inventory, and full adherence to safety and quality standards. You’ll lead and develop your team while driving continuous improvement in efficiency and performance.

 

Your tasks:

  • Lead daily warehouse and logistics operations with a focus on safety and accuracy

  • Meet production delivery deadlines and adapt to schedule changes

  • Improve productivity, minimize downtime, and optimize resource usage

  • Utilize WMS and inventory control software for tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, audits, and WMS reconciliation.

  • Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflow for maximum productivity.

  • Communicate with vendors, and internal Logistics regarding logistics and inventory issues.

  • Enforce safety rules and escalate violations as needed

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all quality standards

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

  • Train, schedule, and manage team performance and attendance

 

 

Experience:

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred

  • Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CLTD, OSHA 30, or Lean/Six Sigma are beneficial.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate teams

  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement

  • Ability to optimize workflows and implement operational policies

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Experience optimizing materials flow and production support processes
