We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Shipper / Receiver to join our team at our Acworth, Georgia facility. This position plays an important role in supporting our Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Service, and Logistics operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing and processing outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, performing basic incoming material inspections, and helping maintain an organized and efficient warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring incoming and outgoing materials are processed accurately and on time.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, packing slips, purchase documentation, and general condition of goods.
  • Perform basic incoming quality inspections to identify visible damage, discrepancies, incorrect quantities, or obvious nonconformance before materials are placed into inventory.
  • Prepare, package, label, and ship parts, components, equipment, and customer orders throughout the United States and internationally.
  • Support the Sales and Service teams by locating, packing, and shipping replacement parts and other materials directly to customers.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation including packing lists, shipping labels, freight paperwork, bills of lading, and delivery documentation as required.
  • Coordinate shipments with parcel and freight carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL carriers, and other transportation providers.
  • Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions accurately into the company's ERP/inventory management system.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper receiving, labeling, material staging, storage, and transaction processing.
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility and load/unload trucks.
  • Assist with loading machinery, equipment, pallets, and other materials for transportation.
  • Organize warehouse locations and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work environment.
  • Communicate shipping delays, receiving discrepancies, damaged materials, shortages, and inventory issues to the appropriate internal team.
  • Follow company safety, shipping, inventory, and material-handling procedures.
  • Assist Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Service personnel with material movement and warehouse-related activities as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, inventory control, manufacturing, or a similar position required.
  • Experience with domestic and/or international shipping through carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight carriers is preferred.
  • Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management software.
  • Comfortable using computers and common Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and inventory transactions.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to recognize and differentiate industrial, mechanical, or technical components is an asset.
  • Previous forklift experience is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping regulations, freight coordination, and special handling requirements is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license & reliable transportation.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
This is an active, hands-on warehouse position. The successful candidate must be able to:
  • Regularly stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive warehouse activities.
  • Lift and move materials and packages safely up to 50lbs.
  • Work around forklifts, machinery, pallets, and industrial equipment.
  • Perform loading, unloading, packing, inventory counting, and material-handling activities throughout the working day.
