Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, and material distribution to project sites. This role supports field operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material deliveries, tracking tools and equipment, managing attendance and operational trackers, and assisting project management with administrative and logistical tasks. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse logistics, inventory control, and material handling, with the ability to operate warehouse equipment and company vehicles safely.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all materials are properly entered into inventory tracking systems.
Track inventory levels, damaged materials, and tool assignments, reporting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Manage purchase orders and assist with procurement-related activities.
Build, maintain, and oversee operational trackers for inventory, attendance, materials, and other project-related metrics.
Coordinate material deliveries to and from project sites as needed.
Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, to transport materials safely and efficiently.
Load and unload materials while ensuring proper handling and storage procedures.
Support field technicians by tracking attendance and maintaining workforce-related records.
Assist Project Managers with administrative, logistical, and operational support tasks.
Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and overall facility upkeep.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power tools, in accordance with safety guidelines.
Lead efforts to maintain accurate records of delivered materials and branch-owned assets.
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management environment required.
Warehouse and logistics experience required.
Clean driving record and ability to meet company driving standards required.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles, including box trucks, required.
Knowledge of inventory labeling, storage procedures, shipping, receiving, and material tracking required.
Experience with cycle counting, order picking, and inventory control preferred.
Forklift operating experience preferred.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and inventory tracking systems required.
Ability to create, maintain, and manage spreadsheets, trackers, and reporting tools required.
Experience using power tools required.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with a professional attitude and ability to support multiple operational priorities.
Mechanical aptitude and experience working with warehouse equipment preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces as needed.
Frequent use of warehouse equipment and power tools required.
