SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Leads for a large, well-known client in Tinley Park, IL. As a Warehouse Lead for SURESTAFF, you will support daily warehouse operations, assist with coordinating workflow, promoting a strong safety culture, and helping ensure operational goals are met.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All Temp-To-Hire employees are offered competitive compensation $26/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include: 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Lead: Serve as a lead on the warehouse floor by providing guidance and support to warehouse associates during daily operations.
Help coordinate daily work assignments and assist with balancing workloads to support operational priorities.
Assist with daily startup meetings and communicate important operational updates to the team.
Monitor daily workflow and communicate any operational issues or concerns to the Assistant Manager.
Assist with unloading containers by forklift/material handling equipment or by hand, put away inventory, pick orders, load trucks, and verify shipments as needed.
Assists with sorting and finalizing outbound shipments.
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory through proper product handling and inventory control practices.
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as assigned.
Support the onboarding and training of new employees and assist with ongoing cross-training of warehouse associates.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while ensuring housekeeping standards are met.

Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Lead: Previous lead experience in a distribution center or high-volume warehouse environment with a smaller crew
Previous Raymond Forklift experience
Familiarity with warehouse management systems, RF scanners, or similar warehouse technology.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
